The room was fairly spacious overall, the bed was comfortable, and I slept well. The sofa was also clean and tidy, and the spot by the window had great natural light. The whole environment was quiet and good for resting. The only minor downside was that the carpet was a bit thin and might feel a little cold in winter.
The hotel is in a good location and easy to find. Breakfast started too late so I missed it. The room was a bit old, with various facilities quite worn out, and cleanliness was just so-so. For Bole city, the value for money is okay.
Overall impression first: worth it. 1. This is an established 4-star hotel. The facilities are inevitably dated, but it's clean. 2. My train was at 8:48, and breakfast only starts at 8:30. Good to know
Does this hotel accept foreign guests?
Star-rated hotels — especially chains and anything four-star and above — almost always register foreign passports as routine. Smaller local hotels sometimes lack the foreign-guest license. Since 2024 hotels officially may not refuse foreign guests: if refused, call or SMS 12345. Book refundable when unsure.
How do I get there?
Show the big Chinese name above to any taxi or DiDi driver, or tap Find in Amap for turn-by-turn navigation. The Chinese name is what drivers read — English names are rarely recognized.
What does the star rating mean?
China's official hotel star rating is assessed by tourism authorities (GB/T 14308 standard): ★★★ = comfortable and reliable, ★★★★ = high-end with full services, ★★★★★ = luxury. It certifies quality, not foreign-guest policy — that's why we flag it separately.
How do I pay there?
Set up Alipay or WeChat Pay with your foreign Visa/Mastercard before you fly — QR payments work at virtually every hotel. Foreign credit cards are accepted at the front desk of most star-rated hotels. Full payments guide →
