The small hall is quite suitable for a small wedding banquet; once the balloons and decorations are on the tables, the atmosphere comes alive. The photo wall is understated and attractive. The building itself has a lot of style, with a nice blend of modern, simple glass curtain walls and wood structure, and it does…

Came from Shanghai to Taizhou for Shen Shen's concert~ Randomly picked this hotel and didn't expect the service to be so good. Jasson proactively contacted me before departure and told me my package included one airport pickup or drop-off service, and arranged a driver for me in advance~ He also gave me info about the…

For Jiaojiang, I chose Yuanzhou Phoenix Villa, right in the city center. The hotel upgraded us to the VIP building; the room was a bit larger, but otherwise not much different. That said, Jiaojiang itself doesn't have much to do—unless you need it as a transit stop, I don't think it's worth staying there specifically.

Good to know

Does this hotel accept foreign guests?

Star-rated hotels — especially chains and anything four-star and above — almost always register foreign passports as routine. Smaller local hotels sometimes lack the foreign-guest license. Since 2024 hotels officially may not refuse foreign guests: if refused, call or SMS 12345. Book refundable when unsure.

How do I get there?

Show the big Chinese name above to any taxi or DiDi driver, or tap Find in Amap for turn-by-turn navigation. The Chinese name is what drivers read — English names are rarely recognized.

What does the star rating mean?

China's official hotel star rating is assessed by tourism authorities (GB/T 14308 standard): ★★★ = comfortable and reliable, ★★★★ = high-end with full services, ★★★★★ = luxury. It certifies quality, not foreign-guest policy — that's why we flag it separately.

How do I pay there?

Set up Alipay or WeChat Pay with your foreign Visa/Mastercard before you fly — QR payments work at virtually every hotel. Foreign credit cards are accepted at the front desk of most star-rated hotels. Full payments guide →
