The room was clean, and the AC cooled quickly, making it nice and cool for sleeping at night. The front desk staff helped plan nearby sightseeing routes, and we visited several spots in the old town along the way, just a 10-minute walk away. The room facilities were fairly new, with electric curtains that my kid found…
Very nice, a moderate distance from the old town—easy to walk there. Well-equipped and clean. The only downside was the hairdryer: ten seconds on, three minutes off. Drying my kid's hair was a real struggle!
The location is excellent, very close to Qingzhou Ancient City, and parking is convenient. The front desk service is warm and friendly. Breakfast is jointly operated with the neighboring shop, and there are also many other breakfast options nearby.

Star-rated hotels — especially chains and anything four-star and above — almost always register foreign passports as routine. Smaller local hotels sometimes lack the foreign-guest license. Since 2024 hotels officially may not refuse foreign guests: if refused, call or SMS 12345. Book refundable when unsure.

China's official hotel star rating is assessed by tourism authorities (GB/T 14308 standard): ★★★ = comfortable and reliable, ★★★★ = high-end with full services, ★★★★★ = luxury. It certifies quality, not foreign-guest policy — that's why we flag it separately.
