Facilities: An old-established luxury hotel. It's been around a long time, but the facilities are well maintained. Hygiene: Clean and tidy, no odors. Environment: Located in Jinyu Hutong near Wangfujing Pedestrian Street, very convenient for getting to Chang'an Avenue or attractions near Wangfujing. Service: The staff…

The Wangfu Hotel has an elegant environment and first-class service. I especially want to thank front desk agent Wang Zhipeng for his warm and professional reception, which made me feel truly welcomed. Highly recommended. I will choose this hotel again next time.

Stayed for business, got a room upgrade. I really suffered without a smart toilet, and the welcome fruit was just three apples... Overall still decent, just personally not a fan of the style here.

Good to know

Does this hotel accept foreign guests?

Star-rated hotels — especially chains and anything four-star and above — almost always register foreign passports as routine. Smaller local hotels sometimes lack the foreign-guest license. Since 2024 hotels officially may not refuse foreign guests: if refused, call or SMS 12345. Book refundable when unsure.

How do I get there?

Show the big Chinese name above to any taxi or DiDi driver, or tap Find in Amap for turn-by-turn navigation. The Chinese name is what drivers read — English names are rarely recognized.

What does the star rating mean?

China's official hotel star rating is assessed by tourism authorities (GB/T 14308 standard): ★★★ = comfortable and reliable, ★★★★ = high-end with full services, ★★★★★ = luxury. It certifies quality, not foreign-guest policy — that's why we flag it separately.

How do I pay there?

Set up Alipay or WeChat Pay with your foreign Visa/Mastercard before you fly — QR payments work at virtually every hotel. Foreign credit cards are accepted at the front desk of most star-rated hotels. Full payments guide →
