Hurried to Chongli before the slopes closed, and the first stop was naturally Wanlong Ski Resort. The hotel facilities are a bit ordinary, and the lobby is very basic, but skiers care most about convenience—ski-in, ski-out doesn't get much better than this, and the food is decent too.

The toilet flush button was faulty and leaked continuously. Breakfast had a rich variety and was very good quality. The best part was that the ski hall was right downstairs, a true ski-in ski-out.

Brought the kids for skiing. For Wanlong Ski Resort, Longgong Hotel is the top choice—ski-in ski-out is very convenient. Good to know

Does this hotel accept foreign guests?

Star-rated hotels — especially chains and anything four-star and above — almost always register foreign passports as routine. Smaller local hotels sometimes lack the foreign-guest license. Since 2024 hotels officially may not refuse foreign guests: if refused, call or SMS 12345. Book refundable when unsure.

How do I get there?

Show the big Chinese name above to any taxi or DiDi driver, or tap Find in Amap for turn-by-turn navigation. The Chinese name is what drivers read — English names are rarely recognized.

What does the star rating mean?

China's official hotel star rating is assessed by tourism authorities (GB/T 14308 standard): ★★★ = comfortable and reliable, ★★★★ = high-end with full services, ★★★★★ = luxury. It certifies quality, not foreign-guest policy — that's why we flag it separately.

How do I pay there?

Set up Alipay or WeChat Pay with your foreign Visa/Mastercard before you fly — QR payments work at virtually every hotel. Foreign credit cards are accepted at the front desk of most star-rated hotels. Full payments guide →
