The hotel is within walking distance of Xia Nanguan Street, with many restaurants nearby. Special thanks to housekeeping staff Ma Ping—when my selfie stick remote battery died, she immediately got help from the engineering department to replace it with a new one. She also brought yogurt every day.

For our last hotel stop before leaving the Northwest, we chose this established hotel. The service was excellent—parking, check-in, and response to requests were all prompt and satisfying. The hotel is right next to Nanguan Street Night Market and Nanguan Grand Mosque, full of lively local flavor, making it very…

Traveling the Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop from Beijing to Xining. This is an established four-star hotel, only a ten-minute drive from Xining High-Speed Railway Station—extremely convenient. Plenty of dining options nearby: Zhongnanguan Street and Xiananguan Street are both night markets close by, plus the popular Yajun…

Good to know

Does this hotel accept foreign guests?

Star-rated hotels — especially chains and anything four-star and above — almost always register foreign passports as routine. Smaller local hotels sometimes lack the foreign-guest license. Since 2024 hotels officially may not refuse foreign guests: if refused, call or SMS 12345. Book refundable when unsure.

How do I get there?

Show the big Chinese name above to any taxi or DiDi driver, or tap Find in Amap for turn-by-turn navigation. The Chinese name is what drivers read — English names are rarely recognized.

What does the star rating mean?

China's official hotel star rating is assessed by tourism authorities (GB/T 14308 standard): ★★★ = comfortable and reliable, ★★★★ = high-end with full services, ★★★★★ = luxury. It certifies quality, not foreign-guest policy — that's why we flag it separately.

How do I pay there?

Set up Alipay or WeChat Pay with your foreign Visa/Mastercard before you fly — QR payments work at virtually every hotel. Foreign credit cards are accepted at the front desk of most star-rated hotels. Full payments guide →
