Passing through Tacheng on a road trip, I stayed at Duxiu Hotel and it exceeded my expectations. The room was very spacious, clean and dry, and the sleeping environment was quiet with no noise. The room was small, the carpet uneven, and there was a sewage smell in the bathroom. They had simply put a plastic bag filled with water over the drain, which effectively blocked the odor. The facilities are quite old, and the breakfast is average.
First time in Tacheng and didn't know where to stay, so I picked Duxiu Hotel based on its rating. Cleanliness: clean and tidy. Facilities: a bit outdated compared to today's smart hotels. Also, dining is inconvenient—it's a 9-yuan taxi ride to the food street. Didn't want to go out at night, so I ordered takeout.
