At around 3 a.m. today, the front desk staff had a terrible attitude. A woman with long hair opened her mouth and started yelling curse words. I passed by, saw a shoe-washing machine nearby, and used it for less than five seconds. She stood up and started yelling, "What are you using that for? You're disturbing my…

Checked in at noon and found the room quite spacious. The sofa and bed were clean and tidy, and the TV streamed without lag. Overall comfortable. However, the air conditioning was a bit too cold, which was a minor downside. The staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. Decent value for money.

The most comfortable hotel stay of this trip to Bozhou. Right next to Wanda Plaza—food and shopping are just downstairs, super convenient. Good to know

Does this hotel accept foreign guests?

Star-rated hotels — especially chains and anything four-star and above — almost always register foreign passports as routine. Smaller local hotels sometimes lack the foreign-guest license. Since 2024 hotels officially may not refuse foreign guests: if refused, call or SMS 12345. Book refundable when unsure.

How do I get there?

Show the big Chinese name above to any taxi or DiDi driver, or tap Find in Amap for turn-by-turn navigation. The Chinese name is what drivers read — English names are rarely recognized.

What does the star rating mean?

China's official hotel star rating is assessed by tourism authorities (GB/T 14308 standard): ★★★ = comfortable and reliable, ★★★★ = high-end with full services, ★★★★★ = luxury. It certifies quality, not foreign-guest policy — that's why we flag it separately.

How do I pay there?

Set up Alipay or WeChat Pay with your foreign Visa/Mastercard before you fly — QR payments work at virtually every hotel. Foreign credit cards are accepted at the front desk of most star-rated hotels. Full payments guide →
