The room was uniquely decorated with natural wood furniture and ethnic-style accents that made it feel relaxing. The bedding was soft and comfortable, so I slept well. The view from the floor-to-ceiling window was nice—sunlight during the day and distant lights at night. There's a snack street nearby, so I grabbed…

In a desert environment like this, having such a hotel is truly a blessing for self-driving travelers. The hotel is grand with unique design—the owner must be someone who strongly believes in feng shui. Overall a good experience, and the Chinese food is just as good as on the mainland. Excellent! Five stars!

Facilities: An old three-star hotel with renovated walls, but the bathroom has no wet-dry separation. Cleanliness: Acceptable, though the hallway carpet is a bit dirty. Environment: There's a parking lot at the entrance, which is convenient. Service: Didn't have much experience with it.

Good to know

Does this hotel accept foreign guests?

Star-rated hotels — especially chains and anything four-star and above — almost always register foreign passports as routine. Smaller local hotels sometimes lack the foreign-guest license. Since 2024 hotels officially may not refuse foreign guests: if refused, call or SMS 12345. Book refundable when unsure.

How do I get there?

Show the big Chinese name above to any taxi or DiDi driver, or tap Find in Amap for turn-by-turn navigation. The Chinese name is what drivers read — English names are rarely recognized.

What does the star rating mean?

China's official hotel star rating is assessed by tourism authorities (GB/T 14308 standard): ★★★ = comfortable and reliable, ★★★★ = high-end with full services, ★★★★★ = luxury. It certifies quality, not foreign-guest policy — that's why we flag it separately.

How do I pay there?

Set up Alipay or WeChat Pay with your foreign Visa/Mastercard before you fly — QR payments work at virtually every hotel. Foreign credit cards are accepted at the front desk of most star-rated hotels. Full payments guide →
