The room was quite large, clean and tidy. Off-season prices are affordable, and transportation is convenient—about a 10-minute walk from Haining Railway Station. It's also close to Ganhe Street where Xu Zhimo's former residence is located, and Nan Guan Xiang Old Street with the former residences of Zhou Qichang and…

This hotel is really great. The room is quite large, and the bathroom is about the size of a small room elsewhere. There's even a large two-person bathtub. They clearly spent a lot on the initial renovation, yet the price is so low. Highly recommended. The only downside is that breakfast is not included.

A short getaway is not a waste of time, but a way to recharge and return to work in better shape. Facilities: Well-equipped inside and out, with an elevator! Cleanliness: Clean and tidy bedding. Service: Friendly front desk and housekeeping staff! Highly recommended!!!

Good to know

Does this hotel accept foreign guests?

Star-rated hotels — especially chains and anything four-star and above — almost always register foreign passports as routine. Smaller local hotels sometimes lack the foreign-guest license. Since 2024 hotels officially may not refuse foreign guests: if refused, call or SMS 12345. Book refundable when unsure.

How do I get there?

Show the big Chinese name above to any taxi or DiDi driver, or tap Find in Amap for turn-by-turn navigation. The Chinese name is what drivers read — English names are rarely recognized.

What does the star rating mean?

China's official hotel star rating is assessed by tourism authorities (GB/T 14308 standard): ★★★ = comfortable and reliable, ★★★★ = high-end with full services, ★★★★★ = luxury. It certifies quality, not foreign-guest policy — that's why we flag it separately.

How do I pay there?

Set up Alipay or WeChat Pay with your foreign Visa/Mastercard before you fly — QR payments work at virtually every hotel. Foreign credit cards are accepted at the front desk of most star-rated hotels. Full payments guide →
