The room was lovely and comfortable to stay in. Convenient dining options in the nearby commercial area, and it's also close to the school. There's parking, and the breakfast was delicious. There's also a hospital and RT-Mart nearby, visible from the archway. Very good.

The lake view outside the window was beautiful. The room was fully equipped, quite spacious, and had some lovely little decorative touches. The complimentary drinking water was local Dinghu Mountain Spring. I've stayed in Zhaoqing many times, but this was the best experience and the most value for money.

This is already my third stay here. The location is excellent, with dining and entertainment all within easy reach. The housekeeping staff are very friendly and excellent. The front desk staff are very friendly and efficient. The room was cleaned and hygienic, though the carpet has some stains; switching to flooring…

Good to know

Does this hotel accept foreign guests?

Star-rated hotels — especially chains and anything four-star and above — almost always register foreign passports as routine. Smaller local hotels sometimes lack the foreign-guest license. Since 2024 hotels officially may not refuse foreign guests: if refused, call or SMS 12345. Book refundable when unsure.

How do I get there?

Show the big Chinese name above to any taxi or DiDi driver, or tap Find in Amap for turn-by-turn navigation. The Chinese name is what drivers read — English names are rarely recognized.

What does the star rating mean?

China's official hotel star rating is assessed by tourism authorities (GB/T 14308 standard): ★★★ = comfortable and reliable, ★★★★ = high-end with full services, ★★★★★ = luxury. It certifies quality, not foreign-guest policy — that's why we flag it separately.

How do I pay there?

Set up Alipay or WeChat Pay with your foreign Visa/Mastercard before you fly — QR payments work at virtually every hotel. Foreign credit cards are accepted at the front desk of most star-rated hotels. Full payments guide →
