The taxi ride from the station wasn't too roundabout. The hotel is right next to the old street, so I wandered through the nearby alleys along the way. From the room window I could see greenery. The wisteria trellis and bamboo-lined path in the courtyard have a lot of charm, great for photos. It's not far from places…

The hotel is on the outskirts of the county town and easy to find with navigation. By the time we arrived, only one parking space was left. The breakfast was very good, the in-room facilities were average, and overall we were basically satisfied. The hotel is 2–3 km from Nanzhang Museum.

The parking lot is very large, and there's always a spot available whenever we return. The room is also spacious with a separated wet and dry area. It's clean and tidy, but perhaps due to the humid weather, there's always a bit of an odor, especially in the bathroom.

Good to know

Does this hotel accept foreign guests?

Star-rated hotels — especially chains and anything four-star and above — almost always register foreign passports as routine. Smaller local hotels sometimes lack the foreign-guest license. Since 2024 hotels officially may not refuse foreign guests: if refused, call or SMS 12345. Book refundable when unsure.

How do I get there?

Show the big Chinese name above to any taxi or DiDi driver, or tap Find in Amap for turn-by-turn navigation. The Chinese name is what drivers read — English names are rarely recognized.

What does the star rating mean?

China's official hotel star rating is assessed by tourism authorities (GB/T 14308 standard): ★★★ = comfortable and reliable, ★★★★ = high-end with full services, ★★★★★ = luxury. It certifies quality, not foreign-guest policy — that's why we flag it separately.

How do I pay there?

Set up Alipay or WeChat Pay with your foreign Visa/Mastercard before you fly — QR payments work at virtually every hotel. Foreign credit cards are accepted at the front desk of most star-rated hotels. Full payments guide →
