The hotel is next to the Yantai Bus Terminal, making travel very convenient. To visit Penglai Pavilion, you can just buy a ticket at the bus terminal. It's a 13–14 minute walk to Yantai Railway Station. There are washing machines and dryers on the first floor of the hotel.

The hotel room was decent, comfortable to stay in, and clean—it felt like a proper hotel. I stayed there for 2 days. It's about 700 meters from the train station, and for long-distance trips to Weihai, the long-distance bus terminal is right downstairs, which is very convenient.

A solid, old-school hotel in a good location, just a short walk from the train station, great for catching a train. The room was okay and fairly clean, though the facilities are a bit dated. The price is quite affordable. Overall pretty good, and I'd stay here again if I visit Yantai in the future.

Good to know

Does this hotel accept foreign guests?

Star-rated hotels — especially chains and anything four-star and above — almost always register foreign passports as routine. Smaller local hotels sometimes lack the foreign-guest license. Since 2024 hotels officially may not refuse foreign guests: if refused, call or SMS 12345. Book refundable when unsure.

How do I get there?

Show the big Chinese name above to any taxi or DiDi driver, or tap Find in Amap for turn-by-turn navigation. The Chinese name is what drivers read — English names are rarely recognized.

What does the star rating mean?

China's official hotel star rating is assessed by tourism authorities (GB/T 14308 standard): ★★★ = comfortable and reliable, ★★★★ = high-end with full services, ★★★★★ = luxury. It certifies quality, not foreign-guest policy — that's why we flag it separately.

How do I pay there?

Set up Alipay or WeChat Pay with your foreign Visa/Mastercard before you fly — QR payments work at virtually every hotel. Foreign credit cards are accepted at the front desk of most star-rated hotels. Full payments guide →
