The front desk ladies were all absolutely wonderful—friendly, warm, professional, and attentive. When they heard it was our anniversary, they upgraded our room and sent up drinks. Excellent hotel with convenient transportation, spacious and quiet rooms, comfortable beds, and great value for money! I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Shanghai. Looking forward to the renovated gym and pool, hoping for an even better experience.
The room decor is nice and spacious, but the very big problem is that every room has a strong musty smell, possibly due to dampness. My room was on the 15th floor. I asked to see rooms on higher floors, but the rooms on the 21st and 23rd floors were the same. I think it may be because all the rooms have sealed windows…
