During the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, I chose the Crowne Plaza Suzhou for the third time. The service level, the enthusiasm and responsibility of the staff, and the dining have all maintained a very high standard. Due to the holiday, there were many guests, but the staff still handled everything in an orderly…
The hotel boasts an excellent location right next to Jinji Lake, surrounded by a well-developed commercial area, making it very convenient for sightseeing and getting around. The guest room hygiene is reassuring, with floors and bathrooms cleaned spotlessly, and the bedding white and neatly pressed. The front desk…

Good to know
Does this hotel accept foreign guests?
Star-rated hotels — especially chains and anything four-star and above — almost always register foreign passports as routine. Smaller local hotels sometimes lack the foreign-guest license. Since 2024 hotels officially may not refuse foreign guests: if refused, call or SMS 12345. Book refundable when unsure.
How do I get there?
Show the big Chinese name above to any taxi or DiDi driver, or tap Find in Amap for turn-by-turn navigation. The Chinese name is what drivers read — English names are rarely recognized.
What does the star rating mean?
China's official hotel star rating is assessed by tourism authorities (GB/T 14308 standard): ★★★ = comfortable and reliable, ★★★★ = high-end with full services, ★★★★★ = luxury. It certifies quality, not foreign-guest policy — that's why we flag it separately.
How do I pay there?
Set up Alipay or WeChat Pay with your foreign Visa/Mastercard before you fly — QR payments work at virtually every hotel. Foreign credit cards are accepted at the front desk of most star-rated hotels. Full payments guide →
