Woke up in the room at dawn, sunlight slipping through the curtain gap, the bed so soft I didn't want to get up. For breakfast I ordered freshly cooked gray beans—smooth and creamy with a light bean aroma, warm and comforting to drink. The room was kept clean and tidy, the AC coolness just right, and the slippers and…
Soaking in the bathtub, the water temperature was just right, the surrounding lighting soft, and my whole body relaxed. During the day I walked around the Loess Plateau, and in the evening I went to the old street for mutton saozi noodles. Coming back at night for a bath, I felt so comfortable I didn't want to move.…

Good to know
Does this hotel accept foreign guests?
Star-rated hotels — especially chains and anything four-star and above — almost always register foreign passports as routine. Smaller local hotels sometimes lack the foreign-guest license. Since 2024 hotels officially may not refuse foreign guests: if refused, call or SMS 12345. Book refundable when unsure.
How do I get there?
Show the big Chinese name above to any taxi or DiDi driver, or tap Find in Amap for turn-by-turn navigation. The Chinese name is what drivers read — English names are rarely recognized.
What does the star rating mean?
China's official hotel star rating is assessed by tourism authorities (GB/T 14308 standard): ★★★ = comfortable and reliable, ★★★★ = high-end with full services, ★★★★★ = luxury. It certifies quality, not foreign-guest policy — that's why we flag it separately.
How do I pay there?
Set up Alipay or WeChat Pay with your foreign Visa/Mastercard before you fly — QR payments work at virtually every hotel. Foreign credit cards are accepted at the front desk of most star-rated hotels. Full payments guide →
