The late-night snack selection is diverse, with the stewed soups standing out—pork kidney, pork liver, and fish fillets are rich and flavorful, warming you up. The buffet table has fried rice noodles, roast duck, and taro dumplings, all aromatic; you can easily have two bowls without getting tired of it. The hotel is…
Lucky travel streak—sunny with no rain. Surprisingly, many hotels in Changting allow indoor smoking, but fortunately Changting Hotel is smoke-free. After comparing options, I booked on Ctrip: 432 yuan per day for a king room, including breakfast, dinner, and late-night snack for two. The room is very large and newly…

Good to know
Does this hotel accept foreign guests?
Star-rated hotels — especially chains and anything four-star and above — almost always register foreign passports as routine. Smaller local hotels sometimes lack the foreign-guest license. Since 2024 hotels officially may not refuse foreign guests: if refused, call or SMS 12345. Book refundable when unsure.
How do I get there?
Show the big Chinese name above to any taxi or DiDi driver, or tap Find in Amap for turn-by-turn navigation. The Chinese name is what drivers read — English names are rarely recognized.
What does the star rating mean?
China's official hotel star rating is assessed by tourism authorities (GB/T 14308 standard): ★★★ = comfortable and reliable, ★★★★ = high-end with full services, ★★★★★ = luxury. It certifies quality, not foreign-guest policy — that's why we flag it separately.
How do I pay there?
Set up Alipay or WeChat Pay with your foreign Visa/Mastercard before you fly — QR payments work at virtually every hotel. Foreign credit cards are accepted at the front desk of most star-rated hotels. Full payments guide →
