Chose to stay at the Baixiang Garden Hotel over the Mid-Autumn Festival. It's very close to the airport, great for plane spotting. The facilities are bright and clean, and the staff are warm and attentive. The stay was comfortable and satisfying.
Stayed at Xiamen Fliport Garden Hotel, came specifically to photograph planes, and the room view was amazing—could see takeoffs and landings clearly. Front desk service was attentive and responded quickly to requests. Room cleanliness was on point. A great stay for aviation enthusiasts.
The room is fully equipped, clean, and very comfortable. The front desk staff are warm, patient, and highly professional. The hotel is well located—just a 10-minute walk from the airport—and the view of planes from the room is excellent.

Good to know
Does this hotel accept foreign guests?
Star-rated hotels — especially chains and anything four-star and above — almost always register foreign passports as routine. Smaller local hotels sometimes lack the foreign-guest license. Since 2024 hotels officially may not refuse foreign guests: if refused, call or SMS 12345. Book refundable when unsure.
How do I get there?
Show the big Chinese name above to any taxi or DiDi driver, or tap Find in Amap for turn-by-turn navigation. The Chinese name is what drivers read — English names are rarely recognized.
What does the star rating mean?
China's official hotel star rating is assessed by tourism authorities (GB/T 14308 standard): ★★★ = comfortable and reliable, ★★★★ = high-end with full services, ★★★★★ = luxury. It certifies quality, not foreign-guest policy — that's why we flag it separately.
How do I pay there?
Set up Alipay or WeChat Pay with your foreign Visa/Mastercard before you fly — QR payments work at virtually every hotel. Foreign credit cards are accepted at the front desk of most star-rated hotels. Full payments guide →
