Stayed at Sunshine Hotel in Putian. The room was impeccably clean, the front desk staff were warm and welcoming, and the breakfast ingredients were fresh. The blackout curtains in the room were excellent, and the location is convenient—easy to head out for meals with friends.
Pretty good, the bed at this hotel is big enough. These days, few hotels can comfortably accommodate a family of two adults and two kids. Last time I stayed here, the lobby was under renovation. Today I came back and it's all done — much more modern now, with a better vibe. The front desk lady was super nice and spoke so gently. When I tried to take a photo of the front desk, she even hid! The room is as clean and tidy as always!!!

Good to know
Does this hotel accept foreign guests?
Star-rated hotels — especially chains and anything four-star and above — almost always register foreign passports as routine. Smaller local hotels sometimes lack the foreign-guest license. Since 2024 hotels officially may not refuse foreign guests: if refused, call or SMS 12345. Book refundable when unsure.
How do I get there?
Show the big Chinese name above to any taxi or DiDi driver, or tap Find in Amap for turn-by-turn navigation. The Chinese name is what drivers read — English names are rarely recognized.
What does the star rating mean?
China's official hotel star rating is assessed by tourism authorities (GB/T 14308 standard): ★★★ = comfortable and reliable, ★★★★ = high-end with full services, ★★★★★ = luxury. It certifies quality, not foreign-guest policy — that's why we flag it separately.
How do I pay there?
Set up Alipay or WeChat Pay with your foreign Visa/Mastercard before you fly — QR payments work at virtually every hotel. Foreign credit cards are accepted at the front desk of most star-rated hotels. Full payments guide →
