Stayed one night on the way home. The hotel is in a great location on the island, surrounded by water on three sides. Xiaojiuhua, the old town, and the canal tourist area are all nearby. They provide large free bottles of water in the room, which is a nice touch, and the breakfast is quite good too.
1. Highly recommended! Home Inn offers great value for money. The room was cleaned thoroughly with no odor, and the mattress was soft and comfortable for sleep. The front desk check-in was fast and the staff was warm and welcoming. Convenient transportation. I will choose this place again next time. 2. Overall stay…
Located on Yingdou Island, surrounded by water on three sides, with beautiful scenery. It's a transit point for Tongli, Lili, and Mudu, and convenient for self-driving trips. Check-in was quick, but the hotel facilities are quite average and somewhat dated.

Star-rated hotels — especially chains and anything four-star and above — almost always register foreign passports as routine. Smaller local hotels sometimes lack the foreign-guest license. Since 2024 hotels officially may not refuse foreign guests: if refused, call or SMS 12345. Book refundable when unsure.

China's official hotel star rating is assessed by tourism authorities (GB/T 14308 standard): ★★★ = comfortable and reliable, ★★★★ = high-end with full services, ★★★★★ = luxury. It certifies quality, not foreign-guest policy — that's why we flag it separately.
