The room was very quiet—even turning over at night wouldn't wake you. The bedding was soft and the toiletries were complete. After a bath, I sat by the window with some tea, watching the distant lights, and felt completely relaxed.
The room wasn't large, but it was sufficient. The bed was soft, and I slept soundly. There wasn't much noise nearby, so even turning over at night didn't disturb anyone. Toiletries were complete and easy to use. The view outside the window was quiet, perfect for waking up slowly. Walking around nearby during the day…

Star-rated hotels — especially chains and anything four-star and above — almost always register foreign passports as routine. Smaller local hotels sometimes lack the foreign-guest license. Since 2024 hotels officially may not refuse foreign guests: if refused, call or SMS 12345. Book refundable when unsure.

China's official hotel star rating is assessed by tourism authorities (GB/T 14308 standard): ★★★ = comfortable and reliable, ★★★★ = high-end with full services, ★★★★★ = luxury. It certifies quality, not foreign-guest policy — that's why we flag it separately.
