The room was tidy, the bed clean, and toiletries complete—comforting to use. Opening the window in the morning, I could hear leaves falling in a nearby park, with a slight chill in the air. Plenty of places to eat nearby; I picked up some local snacks on the way, authentic taste. The hotel is easy to find, a few…
Confirmation email came quickly after booking, with clear address and contact details. The room was spacious and bright, with soft, comfortable bedding. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options—the freshly grilled steak and chawanmushi are highly recommended. There's a seafood stall street nearby with aromatic…
The hotel has a very dated feel—see the photos for details. You have to stand in an old-fashioned bathtub to shower, which is quite inconvenient, and the breakfast selection isn't great either. Unless you're here for the ferry, it's pretty far from the city's attractions.

Good to know
Does this hotel accept foreign guests?
Star-rated hotels — especially chains and anything four-star and above — almost always register foreign passports as routine. Smaller local hotels sometimes lack the foreign-guest license. Since 2024 hotels officially may not refuse foreign guests: if refused, call or SMS 12345. Book refundable when unsure.
How do I get there?
Show the big Chinese name above to any taxi or DiDi driver, or tap Find in Amap for turn-by-turn navigation. The Chinese name is what drivers read — English names are rarely recognized.
What does the star rating mean?
China's official hotel star rating is assessed by tourism authorities (GB/T 14308 standard): ★★★ = comfortable and reliable, ★★★★ = high-end with full services, ★★★★★ = luxury. It certifies quality, not foreign-guest policy — that's why we flag it separately.
How do I pay there?
Set up Alipay or WeChat Pay with your foreign Visa/Mastercard before you fly — QR payments work at virtually every hotel. Foreign credit cards are accepted at the front desk of most star-rated hotels. Full payments guide →
