The room was clean, and the bed was on the firm side, but the price was affordable and I felt at ease staying there. It was just a few minutes' walk to the pedestrian street, so in the evening I stopped by the food stalls along the way—lively and convenient. The front desk staff were warm and even helped point out a…
Under the streetlights by the pedestrian street, the sweet aroma of roasted sweet potatoes mingled with a hint of caramel. The potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, still steaming hot when bitten into. A few small stools were set up at the shop entrance, where students in school uniforms sat in…

Good to know
Does this hotel accept foreign guests?
Star-rated hotels — especially chains and anything four-star and above — almost always register foreign passports as routine. Smaller local hotels sometimes lack the foreign-guest license. Since 2024 hotels officially may not refuse foreign guests: if refused, call or SMS 12345. Book refundable when unsure.
How do I get there?
Show the big Chinese name above to any taxi or DiDi driver, or tap Find in Amap for turn-by-turn navigation. The Chinese name is what drivers read — English names are rarely recognized.
What does the star rating mean?
China's official hotel star rating is assessed by tourism authorities (GB/T 14308 standard): ★★★ = comfortable and reliable, ★★★★ = high-end with full services, ★★★★★ = luxury. It certifies quality, not foreign-guest policy — that's why we flag it separately.
How do I pay there?
Set up Alipay or WeChat Pay with your foreign Visa/Mastercard before you fly — QR payments work at virtually every hotel. Foreign credit cards are accepted at the front desk of most star-rated hotels. Full payments guide →
