The butler service was warm and attentive. The room was nice 👍 They gave us welcome fruit and a free dinner.
The hotel service was superb. I had just arrived in Golmud when I came down with a cold and fever. The assistant manager, Li Yuke, immediately brought an oxygen tank and arranged for rhodiola. That evening, knowing I was unwell, she specifically called to remind me to rest in my room and even sent up noodles and rice…

Good to know
Does this hotel accept foreign guests?
Star-rated hotels — especially chains and anything four-star and above — almost always register foreign passports as routine. Smaller local hotels sometimes lack the foreign-guest license. Since 2024 hotels officially may not refuse foreign guests: if refused, call or SMS 12345. Book refundable when unsure.
How do I get there?
Show the big Chinese name above to any taxi or DiDi driver, or tap Find in Amap for turn-by-turn navigation. The Chinese name is what drivers read — English names are rarely recognized.
What does the star rating mean?
China's official hotel star rating is assessed by tourism authorities (GB/T 14308 standard): ★★★ = comfortable and reliable, ★★★★ = high-end with full services, ★★★★★ = luxury. It certifies quality, not foreign-guest policy — that's why we flag it separately.
How do I pay there?
Set up Alipay or WeChat Pay with your foreign Visa/Mastercard before you fly — QR payments work at virtually every hotel. Foreign credit cards are accepted at the front desk of most star-rated hotels. Full payments guide →
