The parking lot at the entrance is huge! You can park anywhere. Just a few steps away there are plenty of good places to eat, and across the road there's a newly opened huangmian barbecue spot that tastes great too. A good choice for a self-driving stopover. It's also close to Jiangbulake if you're driving.
Arrived at Jiangbulak Airport at night. The hotel was easy to find, with a food night market nearby where I had pepper chicken. The room was spacious, simple, and quiet. Qitai is known for its yellow noodles; I also had pilaf and visited the Jiangbulak scenic area. Looking back now, I really want to go again.
