Facing Xuanwu Lake directly—just open the curtains to see the lake view. However, the base room type faces north and doesn't have a view, so you'd need to choose a deluxe lake-view room, which costs around 400+ yuan.

The hotel is next to Nanjing Station, and you can see Xuanwu Lake right from your room. Although it's an older building, it has everything you'd need, and the staff are very friendly and responsive.

Very close to the train station, within walking distance, but note there are north and south exits! The hotel is fairly old, but has everything you need and the service is decent. Overall very satisfied!

Good to know

Does this hotel accept foreign guests?

Star-rated hotels — especially chains and anything four-star and above — almost always register foreign passports as routine. Smaller local hotels sometimes lack the foreign-guest license. Since 2024 hotels officially may not refuse foreign guests: if refused, call or SMS 12345. Book refundable when unsure.

How do I get there?

Show the big Chinese name above to any taxi or DiDi driver, or tap Find in Amap for turn-by-turn navigation. The Chinese name is what drivers read — English names are rarely recognized.

What does the star rating mean?

China's official hotel star rating is assessed by tourism authorities (GB/T 14308 standard): ★★★ = comfortable and reliable, ★★★★ = high-end with full services, ★★★★★ = luxury. It certifies quality, not foreign-guest policy — that's why we flag it separately.

How do I pay there?

Set up Alipay or WeChat Pay with your foreign Visa/Mastercard before you fly — QR payments work at virtually every hotel. Foreign credit cards are accepted at the front desk of most star-rated hotels. Full payments guide →
