Nanjing Jin'ao International Hotel – full marks, highly recommended. The 88 sqm one-bedroom, one-living-room layout is spacious, with a separate living room, walk-in closet, and two bathrooms—very convenient when traveling and staying together. 270° panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows; from the high floor you overlook…

The location is excellent, right in Hexi CBD, with Yuantong Metro Station just downstairs. Huacai Tiandi and IFC are within walking distance for shopping and dining. For those attending concerts, it's a godsend—very close to the Olympic Sports Center.

The room has a great view and is very close to the Olympic Sports Center. The butler service is very attentive, and the basic amenities are quite complete. However, the decor feels a bit dated. Overall, a good experience and highly recommended.

Good to know

Does this hotel accept foreign guests?

Star-rated hotels — especially chains and anything four-star and above — almost always register foreign passports as routine. Smaller local hotels sometimes lack the foreign-guest license. Since 2024 hotels officially may not refuse foreign guests: if refused, call or SMS 12345. Book refundable when unsure.

How do I get there?

Show the big Chinese name above to any taxi or DiDi driver, or tap Find in Amap for turn-by-turn navigation. The Chinese name is what drivers read — English names are rarely recognized.

What does the star rating mean?

China's official hotel star rating is assessed by tourism authorities (GB/T 14308 standard): ★★★ = comfortable and reliable, ★★★★ = high-end with full services, ★★★★★ = luxury. It certifies quality, not foreign-guest policy — that's why we flag it separately.

How do I pay there?

Set up Alipay or WeChat Pay with your foreign Visa/Mastercard before you fly — QR payments work at virtually every hotel. Foreign credit cards are accepted at the front desk of most star-rated hotels. Full payments guide →
